Hi, I’m Nicole.

I have spent almost a decade in operations, working in fields ranging from non-profit to luxury retail. I specialize in project management, efficiency analysis, and staff training and onboarding, and am passionate about supporting organizations in finding solutions. When working with a company I like to look at all sides, unpacking what makes a team function, the tools they’re using and how we can improve it together. This is why I primarily use Asana, a work management platform designed to help teams track, manage and scale their work and organizational goals, as my go-to platform for operational success. Here you’ll find certifications I have received or are in progress both in Asana and elsewhere, the technologies I have worked with so far, and a few projects I am proud of. I look forward to helping your organization find success.

HERE ARE A FEW PROJECTS I’VE LEAD THAT HAVE HELPED Organizations MOVE FORWARD

Acquiring the Imagine Canada Accredidation for a Canadian Non-Profit

Leading a small task force both interdepartmentally and with the Board of Directors to acquire the Imagine Canada Accredidation, meeting over seventy requirements in five categories measuring the governance health within an organization over the course of multiple peer reviews. Using Asana as our primary tracking and communication tool we were able to finalize the accredidation with minimal feedback from the panel, and a Trustmark for the organization to increase donor trust and transparency.

Implementation of an organization’s Annual Plan into Asana

Working collaboratively with both executive leadership and the human resources team to create and execute an Asana refresh plan in which I ran six hours of training for current staff to feel more confident with the tool while simultaneously building structure to input the FY25 Annual Plan into Asana. With an integrated strategy, I ensured staff understood how to connect projects and provided roles and responsibilities so that staff felt engaged in the plan, encouraging collaboration across departments and transparency with organizational goals.

Migrating to a unified system and increasing worker efficiency

Full company-wide migration from Google Suite to Microsoft 365 & Asana, moving over fifty staff from their Google accounts, setting up individual accounts via MS365 Administrator and creating new unified data pools for staff to increase efficiency and align where to retrieve information for their roles. Additionally, I designed and implemented individualized Sharepoint infrastructure to provide space for staff engagement throughout the organization and provided training to staff on all relevant applications for day-to-day use.

Organizational compliance with the Accessibility of Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

Using Asana as our primary tracking and collaboration tool I worked closely with the human resources team to do a deep-dive review of the AODA requirements for non-profits, ensuring all requirements were met and exceeded, aligning to the needs of current staff and future employees within the organization. Throughout the review process, I also prioritized the identification of long-term projects to help guide decision-making for departmental goals moving forward.

Increased overhead savings and team support Improvement

Overhauling budgetary documents to track financial data for high-spending teams. Creating annual workflow breakdowns to help prioritize actionable tasks, resulting in thousands of dollars in savings when investing in air travel and other necessary expenses. Creating transparency between departments, aligning each team’s annual high and low work volume times fostering understanding and support within their work culture.
